Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Experience developing and implementing behavior intervention plans in educational settings preferred
- Strong ability to collect and analyze data to inform instructional practices and interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and organizational skills to manage a dynamic caseload
- Proficiency in providing staff training and guidance on behavior management strategies
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and create individualized behavior intervention plans for students
- Collaborate closely with school staff, teachers, and parents to ensure effective implementation of interventions
- Provide ongoing training and support to school personnel on topics related to applied behavior analysis
- Maintain accurate documentation of interventions, progress, and data collection
- Monitor student progress, adjust strategies as needed, and participate in IEP meetings as an integral part of the team
