Desired Skills and Experience:
- BCBA certification required
- Experience working with students in grades K–12 (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Demonstrated knowledge of behavior assessment and intervention strategies
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with educational staff and families
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop data-driven Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers in implementing behavioral supports
- Lead staff training focused on positive behavior support techniques and data collection procedures
- Monitor student progress, update intervention plans as needed, and maintain thorough records
- Provide support and coaching to families for consistency across home and school environments
- Participate in IEP meetings to share behavioral insights and recommendations
