Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Amherst, Massachusetts

Bring your expertise in behavioral analysis to a dynamic educational setting as a school-based BCBA/Autism Specialist for the upcoming school year! This full-time, onsite role will cover the 2026–2027 academic year and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact for students with autism across four different school sites.

As a valued specialist, you will serve as both a consultant and hands-on resource, working alongside educators, support staff, and multidisciplinary teams to foster positive learning environments. Your strengths in behavior analysis, coaching, and collaboration will help shape student success and enhance staff confidence.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid and current BCBA certification (must provide evidence upon submission)
• Previous experience in schools as a BCBA/Autism Specialist
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and creating Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Skilled in coaching teachers and paraprofessionals on evidence-based behavior strategies
• Background in supporting autism-specific programs and classrooms
• Comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams
• Dependable transportation for travel between designated school sites
• Ability to pass a drug test and clear background checks (CORI and fingerprinting)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver onsite behavior consultation and direct support
• Conduct FBAs and develop individualized BIPs for students
• Provide classroom coaching to educators and support staff
• Guide teachers and paraprofessionals in effective autism support strategies
• Collaborate closely to promote inclusive educational practices
• Maintain regular, timely attendance and communicate absences promptly
