Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Aptos, California

A highly motivated Board Certified Behavior Analyst is sought to support students and staff for the 26/27 school year, working across four school sites in a dynamic educational environment. This contract opportunity offers full-time hours, with a consistent schedule from 8 am to 4 pm, running from ASAP through June 11, 2027. This role centers on managing and supervising 1–2 Registered Behavior Technicians. Collaborative leadership and thoughtful behavior planning are key as you work closely with school staff, students, and families to develop and implement effective behavioral programs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active BCBA certification required
• Experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis
• Prior supervisory experience or readiness to supervise RBTs
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently across multiple school sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor 1–2 Registered Behavior Technicians
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and write Behavior Intervention Plans
• Train school staff and families on behavior support strategies
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust plans as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams
• Travel between school sites as required
