In this role, you will provide crucial supervision for a team of three Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). You’ll be a trusted resource for developing, implementing, and monitoring effective behavior intervention plans. Your guidance will empower teachers and staff, helping them foster positive learning environments and promote student success.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) required
- Proven experience as a BCBA or Behavior Specialist in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Experience supervising and mentoring RBTs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision, coaching, and ongoing support to a team of three RBTs
- Develop, review, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to address behavioral challenges
- Conduct functional behavior assessments, data analysis, and recommend evidence-based strategies
- Offer training and professional development for school staff
- Attend team meetings as needed and maintain thorough documentation
