Make a meaningful impact supporting students with complex needs in a high school and transition setting. This contract-based opportunity in the Arlington Heights area offers full-time hours, from 7:30am to 3:00pm during the 2026-2027 school year.

In this role, you will work directly with high school-aged and transition students, leveraging your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in assistive technology and thrives working with individuals who present with diverse and sometimes significant support needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Extensive hands-on experience with assistive technology
  • Demonstrated proficiency supporting students with complex needs
  • Comfort and experience working with high school and transition-aged populations
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting behavioral assessments and developing function-based intervention plans
  • Collaborating with educators, related service providers, and families
  • Training and supporting school staff in the implementation of strategies and use of assistive technology
  • Collecting, analyzing, and reporting data for ongoing progress monitoring
  • Adjusting interventions to maximize student engagement, independence, and skill acquisition
