Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Arlington, Virginia

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid certification as a BCBA, RBT, or certified Special Education Teacher
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Proven success in behavioral support, with an emphasis on students with Autism Spectrum Disorder or ADHD
• Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and behavioral support to a 1st grade student
• Coordinate closely with school administration and related service providers
• Collect and analyze data to adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports social, emotional, and academic growth
• Maintain open communication with families and other stakeholders
