In this position, you'll provide expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2026-2027 school year, working 35 hours weekly. What we’re looking for:
- Active BCBA certification required.
- Prior experience working with schools or pediatric populations preferred.
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and Cooperative Programming.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and families.
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting functional behavior assessments and interpreting data in school-based environments.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring effective behavior intervention plans for students.
- Providing guidance, training, and consultation to teachers and school staff on behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Supporting students through direct services and collaborative problem solving, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation regarding student progress and interventions.
- Participating in team meetings, individual education plan (IEP) processes, and family communications as needed.
