Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students and staff as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This full-time position is designed to cover a maternity leave, offering a structured schedule from 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, from August 18, 2026 through approximately October 23, 2026 (with some flexibility depending on the official end date).
You’ll be responsible for a caseload of 35-45 students, collaborating closely with classroom teachers to design and implement individualized programs. This role thrives on in-the-moment teamwork—providing real time training and coaching to classroom staff, consulting on behavioral strategies, and ensuring systems are in place to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst credential (BCBA) required
- Prior experience working within school or educational settings
- Strong understanding of behavioral intervention development and implementation
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for staff training and parent collaboration
- Flexible mindset to respond to school-wide needs as they arise
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and support behavioral programs in coordination with teachers
- Coach and train staff in real time on best practices and interventions
- Consult and collaborate with other BCBAs and educational team members
- Assist with daily logistical needs such as student arrival and dismissal
- Respond effectively in crisis situations, providing direct services as needed
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as directed to support the building’s behavioral initiatives
