Qualifications:

  • Hold and maintain current certification as a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Maryland
  • Possess an active National BCBA Certification
  • Experienced in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
  • Adept at collaborating with IEP teams to develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Comfortable training and supporting school staff

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive FBAs to assess student needs and design targeted interventions
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of effective BIPs in collaboration with IEP teams
  • Provide training and ongoing guidance to educational staff to ensure consistent and accurate application of behavioral strategies
  • Monitor the fidelity of BIP implementation and ensure reliable, data-driven decision-making
  • Maintain detailed documentation on student progress, intervention outcomes, and all activities related to behavioral services
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary meetings to support student success and share insights with colleagues
