Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active BCBA certification (must be current)
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
- Prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong understanding of best practices in ABA and behavioral assessment
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Maine licensure or eligibility to obtain proper state credentials
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze student data
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Train and support teachers, staff, and families on behavioral strategies
- Collect data, maintain accurate records, and prepare comprehensive reports
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary IEP meetings and consultations
- Provide ongoing evaluation and adjustment of interventions as needed
