Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required (not open to RBTs seeking unrestricted hours).
- Direct experience supporting older students with intensive behavioral needs, ideally in school settings.
- Strong crisis intervention skills and experience developing and implementing crisis plans.
- Ability to train, mentor, and support RBTs, paraprofessionals, and teaching staff.
- Strong collaboration and leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and devise workable intervention strategies.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to RBTs and educational staff to ensure best practices.
- Lead crisis response and intervention plans, ensuring student and staff safety at all times.
- Advocate for a continuum of supports that address both behavioral and academic needs.
- Foster team communication and creative problem-solving.
