Step into a pivotal role supporting middle and high school students with significant behavioral needs in a unique educational environment. This contract opportunity spans ASAP through the end of the school year, with the potential for renewal or a permanent placement. You’ll collaborate with a cooperative district near Bellevue, NE, focusing on students whose needs exceed district resources but aren’t fully met within local clinical settings.
Your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will make a difference for 6th–12th graders, many of whom present with challenging and complex behaviors. These students, often physically larger and demonstrating extreme behaviors, require creative, evidence-based strategies. You’ll work in a facility designed to foster engagement—not isolation—with a team that includes dedicated paraprofessionals and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current BCBA certification required (no RBTs for unrestricted hours)
- Experience supporting adolescents with severe behavioral challenges
- Comfortable developing crisis plans and leading team-based interventions
- History of working in multidisciplinary settings, providing leadership and training
- Ability to collaborate with school, district, and external partners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments, develop and implement support plans
- Provide ongoing coaching to RBTs, paras, and teaching staff
- Lead professional development on behavioral intervention strategies
- Guide non-academic supports for students, focusing on functional improvement
- Adapt plans to fit a continuum model—not isolated or clinic-based care
- Participate in conversations around innovative options, including possible remote support
This is your chance to champion inclusive, student-focused supports—helping some of the area’s most vulnerable learners succeed. Ready to apply your skills and leadership in a setting that values your BCBA expertise? Apply now to advance behavioral supports where they’re needed most!
