We’re partnering with a supportive local school district to hire a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2026–2027 school year. This role will support high school and post-secondary students while collaborating closely with special education teams and school staff across multiple campuses.

Position Details

  • School Year: August 12, 2026 – June 3, 2027
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
  • Schedule: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM
  • Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch
  • Student Population: Grades 9–12+ (including post-secondary students)
  • Sites: 2–3 school sites

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Develop and oversee Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Provide behavioral consultation and support to school staff and families
  • Monitor student progress and behavioral data
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
  • Support implementation of evidence-based behavioral strategies across campuses
  • May supervise and support Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) as needed

Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification required
  • California experience preferred
  • Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to supervise RBTs preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and case management skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $60–$70 per hour depending on experience and district placement
