We’re partnering with a supportive local school district to hire a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2026–2027 school year. This role will support high school and post-secondary students while collaborating closely with special education teams and school staff across multiple campuses.
Position Details
- School Year: August 12, 2026 – June 3, 2027
- Hours: 30 hours per week
- Schedule: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM
- Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Student Population: Grades 9–12+ (including post-secondary students)
- Sites: 2–3 school sites
Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Develop and oversee Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Provide behavioral consultation and support to school staff and families
- Monitor student progress and behavioral data
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
- Support implementation of evidence-based behavioral strategies across campuses
- May supervise and support Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) as needed
Qualifications
- Active BCBA certification required
- California experience preferred
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Ability to supervise RBTs preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and case management skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $60–$70 per hour depending on experience and district placement
