Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Berkeley, CA

This contract-based, on-site position offers meaningful engagement with diverse learners as part of two temporary assignments (MAT leave coverage), beginning August 5, 2026, and running for the academic year. You’ll play a crucial role in fostering positive change and supporting student success within a respected district.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
• Valid California state credentials with authorization to practice as a BCBA
• Prior experience delivering behavioral interventions in educational settings is highly desirable
• Strong ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with staff, students, and families
• Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional excellence
• Availability for full-time, on-site engagement (37.5 hours per week)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments and design data-driven behavior intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators to implement interventions and monitor progress
• Provide training and ongoing coaching to school personnel and student support staff
• Document interventions and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering expertise on behavioral strategies
• Adjust supports and interventions based on ongoing data and student needs
