This contract-based, on-site position offers meaningful engagement with diverse learners as part of two temporary assignments (MAT leave coverage), beginning August 5, 2026, and running for the academic year. Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Valid California state credentials with authorization to practice as a BCBA
- Prior experience delivering behavioral interventions in educational settings is highly desirable
- Strong ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional excellence
- Availability for full-time, on-site engagement (37.5 hours per week)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and design data-driven behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators to implement interventions and monitor progress
- Provide training and ongoing coaching to school personnel and student support staff
- Document interventions and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering expertise on behavioral strategies
- Adjust supports and interventions based on ongoing data and student needs
