Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Bernalillo, New Mexico

Support students’ growth and success as a BCBA in the greater Albuquerque area! This full-time contract opportunity allows you to make a genuine difference in K-12 educational settings from now through the end of the school year. You’ll collaborate with dedicated school teams, implementing evidence-based interventions and ensuring students receive the optimal support they need.

Essential Qualifications:

• Valid BCBA certification
• Previous experience working in K-12 schools preferred
• Strong background writing, implementing, and reviewing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Skilled in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
• Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and team collaboration
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Passion for supporting students and staff in meeting behavioral goals

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct FBAs to guide data-driven decision-making and individualized supports
• Develop and update BIPs aligned with students’ unique needs
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering insight and recommendations related to behavioral planning
• Train and support teachers and classroom staff in implementing effective behavioral strategies
• Provide ongoing consultation and coaching to enhance staff capacity
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to track progress and adjust interventions
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in line with district and compliance standards
