Qualifications and Experience:

  • State license to practice as a BCBA
  • Experience working in elementary, middle, and high school settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Dedication to ethical, student-centered practice

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Conduct and interpret FBAs to identify triggers, functions, and effective interventions for challenging behaviors
  • Provide direct support to students and consult with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on data collection and analysis
  • Offer training and resources to staff on best practices for positive behavior support
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
