Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and design individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Partner with teachers, administrators, families, and support personnel to implement effective behavioral strategies tailored to each student’s needs
  • Monitor, collect, and analyze behavioral data to track progress and modify intervention plans as needed
  • Offer training and ongoing support for staff in behavior management methods and applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines as well as district requirements

Qualifications:

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Proven experience working with K–8 students, ideally within a school environment
  • Strong skills in communication, collaboration, and organization
  • Capacity to manage multiple caseloads effectively while consistently meeting deadlines
  • Thorough understanding of best practices, ethical standards, and legislation related to special education
