In this position, you’ll collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs. Your expertise will directly contribute to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments for students in early elementary through high school.
Desired Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Demonstrated experience supporting students in grades 1–12
- Knowledge of current behavioral assessment methods and intervention strategies
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with school protocols and regulations regarding special education
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments for students across elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Provide coaching and consultation to teachers, paraprofessionals, and family members
- Collect and analyze data to measure intervention effectiveness
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
- Offer training and workshops to school staff on positive behavioral supports
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment
