Step into a dynamic opportunity as a Behavior Specialist supporting a vibrant school district near Brandywine, MD. In this contract role, beginning August 3rd and running through June 25th, you’ll be vital in fostering positive behavioral outcomes for students of all ages. Your expertise as a BCBA empowers you to collaborate district-wide, ensuring that all 24 schools benefit from your skill set and dedication.

You’ll work 35 hours per week during flexible school hours, Monday through Friday, with scheduling shaped by school site operations. This district-level assignment gives you the chance to make a meaningful difference across multiple campuses, and you’ll be paired with a dedicated behavioral technician at each elementary school—enabling you to focus on designing, implementing, and supervising effective intervention plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
  • Previous experience in school-based or educational settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to work with diverse student populations, across all grade levels
  • Strong collaborative skills for partnering with educators, specialists, and families
  • Proficiency in developing and monitoring behavior intervention plans
  • Organizational flexibility to adapt to assignments across different campuses

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting functional behavior assessments and analyzing student data
  • Designing and overseeing implementation of tailored behavioral interventions
  • Training and supervising behavior technicians and other support staff
  • Collaborating with school teams to develop proactive strategies
  • Serving as a resource for teachers and administrators on behavioral best practices
  • Supporting data-driven decision making to enhance student growth
