This travel assignment will have you working within a retail-style facility—an innovative environment designed to meet students’ needs outside traditional classrooms. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, focusing your expertise on some of the area’s most challenging cases, where elopement, self-injury, aggression, and complex behavioral concerns require an experienced and creative BCBA. Help guide and mentor a dedicated staff including Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), paras, and classroom aides, ensuring safety and skill development for students and staff alike.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
• Experience supporting older students with extreme behavioral needs
• Advanced skills in developing crisis plans and behavior interventions
• Strong leadership ability to coach and provide guidance to support staff
• Ability to analyze, train, and support as the on-site BCBA; RBTs not eligible for unrestricted hours

Role Responsibilities:

• Direct applied behavior analysis services for 6th–12th graders
• Collaborate with educational teams and support staff (including up to 10 paras/RBTs)
• Train, supervise, and empower educational staff and teachers
• Design and implement crisis management plans for extreme behaviors
• Observe, assess, and adapt interventions for physical and emotional safety
