This dynamic role near Bridgeport, CT, offers the chance to work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff to create positive learning environments.

Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA certification required
  • Experience providing behavioral analysis services in a school or similar setting
  • Familiarity with IEP development and goal-setting for students
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to start as soon as possible and commit through the end of the school year (June)
  • Dedication to supporting diverse groups of students with varying behavioral and academic needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to implement and monitor behavior strategies
  • Provide ongoing professional development, training, and support for school staff
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of data collection and intervention outcomes
  • Attend IEP meetings and consult on behavioral goals
  • Adjust behavior plans and strategies as needed to promote student success
