Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Experience working with children or adolescents, ideally in an educational or school setting
  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices
  • Ability to develop, monitor, and adjust individualized behavior plans
  • Excellent communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Adaptability and a proactive mindset in dynamic learning environments

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to inform intervention strategies
  • Create and oversee implementation of evidence-based behavior intervention plans
  • Train and support school staff in best practices for behavior management and positive reinforcement
  • Monitor student progress, adjusting plans as needed and maintaining detailed documentation
  • Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to foster student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Stay informed of current research and trends in behavior analysis to continuously improve services
