Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Bronx, New York

Step into a pivotal role supporting students and staff by applying your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Situated near Bronx, NY, this onsite, contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 school year, with flexibility for part-time or full-time schedules. Your services will be most needed from September 8, 2026, through June 25, 2027, Mondays to Fridays, 8:30am–3pm, allowing for a balanced workday and a 30-minute lunch break.

In this role, you'll provide vital supervision for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), oversee the implementation and fidelity of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and manage a caseload of students in grades 7–12, including those up to age 22. This setting values experienced professionals who can collaborate with educators and contribute to a positive, supportive school environment.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and completion of 8-hour supervision training are required
• Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential will also be considered
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
• Demonstrated expertise in developing, monitoring, and adjusting Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Strong interpersonal skills for working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Capacity to supervise and mentor RBTs effectively

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise RBTs and ensure high-quality behavioral services
• Oversee and implement Behavior Intervention Plans
• Conduct functional behavioral assessments and data analysis
• Collaborate with teaching staff and families regarding student goals
• Provide ongoing training and support to school personnel
