This part-time contract opportunity is available immediately for the remainder of the 2025/2026 academic year, offering a flexible two-day-per-week schedule (Monday–Friday options).
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with staff and multidisciplinary teams while providing consultation services for a caseload of approximately 29 students (elementary and middle school levels). The primary responsibilities focus on consultation, behavioral intervention support, and reviewing and updating behavior intervention plans (BIPs). You’ll become a valued resource to classrooms that are already stable but benefit from your targeted behavioral expertise.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- BCBA certification required
- Prior experience in public school settings is preferred, though not mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and update behavior intervention strategies
- Proven success supporting students with behavioral needs in educational environments
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Compassionate, creative, and team-oriented approach to supporting students and staff
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver behavioral consultation to teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
- Assist in developing, updating, and tracking effectiveness of BIPs
- Provide hands-on guidance for classroom interventions and positive behavioral supports
- Partner with educational teams and administrators to maximize student outcomes
Assignment Details:
- Caseload includes 22 students in Grades 2–5 and 7 middle schoolers
- Services are aligned with IEPs and focus on consultation and staff support
