This full-time contract role offers a meaningful experience working 35 hours per week, covering three buildings situated close together for convenient travel during the workday. You’ll be joining a dedicated team of professionals and will actively collaborate with other BCBAs, fostering mutual growth and the sharing of best practices.
Ideal candidates will bring strong skills in applied behavior analysis, along with a passion for making a positive impact in educational settings. In this role, you’ll focus on supporting both students and staff, developing and monitoring effective behavioral interventions, and contributing to a collaborative and student-centered culture.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Comfortable working with students of all age groups
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt and travel between three nearby school buildings
- Proactive and organized, with a commitment to evidence-based practices
- Experience with data collection and analysis related to behavior plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate closely with teaching staff, administration, and other BCBAs
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Provide staff consultation and training on best practices in behavior management
- Participate in team meetings to support student outcomes across age levels
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and ethical standards
