Exciting opportunity for an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work in a dynamic school environment supporting students with severe disabilities and autism, aged 2–22. This contract position is for the 2026–2027 school year, requiring a full-time, on-site commitment, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week).
Desired Qualifications:
- Current, active Delaware BCBA licensure or certification (required)
- Demonstrated experience in a school-based setting
- Background working with students exhibiting severe behaviors or diagnosed with autism
- Proven skills in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Experience conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
- Ability to collaborate on behavior-related goals for IEPs and support data collection initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the school’s crisis team with de-escalation strategies
- Conduct FBAs to determine students’ behavioral needs
- Develop and implement BSPs in collaboration with school teams
- Provide behavioral guidance and support to both staff and students
- Assist with ongoing data collection relevant to student progress
- Contribute expertise as part of multidisciplinary IEP meetings

- This is an on-site position; remote work is not available
