Apply NowMake a lasting impact in the educational field supporting students with severe disabilities and autism (ages 2–22) as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a dynamic, school-based environment. This full-time, onsite contract extends across the academic year, offering you the opportunity to use your BCBA skills to facilitate positive change through evidence-based interventions.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active DE BCBA licensure/certification required (confirmation needed upon application)
- Experience in educational or school-based settings, particularly working with students with autism or severe disabilities
- Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation capabilities, including work on crisis teams
- Demonstrated ability to conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
- Excellent collaboration skills for developing IEP behavior goals
- On-site availability Mondays through Fridays, 37.5 hours weekly
- Comfortable working with students from ages 2 to 22
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on behavioral support to both students and staff within the school setting
- Participate as a critical member of the crisis response team, using de-escalation strategies when needed
- Collect and analyze behavioral data, making recommendations for adjustments as appropriate
- Collaborate with education staff and service providers to set, track, and achieve behavior objectives within IEPs
- Develop and continuously update Behavior Support Plans and FBAs
- Coach and consult with school personnel to foster the implementation of effective behavioral strategies
