A contract opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support school-based programs full time (37.5 hours per week). This position focuses on empowering staff and students by applying evidence-based strategies and collaborating with educational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to determine student needs and challenges
- Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Regularly observe students within classroom and school settings, providing actionable feedback
- Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), ensuring program fidelity and professional growth
- Work closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other specialists to build capacity for positive behavioral support
- Maintain clear, organized records and document progress towards behavioral goals
- Attend team meetings and contribute expertise to student success planning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification (required)
- Prior school-based experience as a BCBA highly valued
- Expertise in conducting FBAs and developing BIPs
- Strong communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and administrators
- Ability to provide supportive, constructive supervision to RBTs
- Organized, analytic, and innovative approach to supporting diverse student needs
