Key Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Appropriate state licensure for school-based practice
- Experience working in elementary, middle, or high school settings
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for referred students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Offer consultation and training to teachers, paraprofessionals, and staff to implement best practices in behavior management
- Track progress, analyze behavioral data, and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with IEP teams and participate in meetings to support student success
