Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Chattanooga, Tennessee

Step into an impactful role supporting students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This full-time contract opportunity near Chattanooga, TN offers 37.5 hours per week, with hours typically between 7:15 AM and 4:15 PM—flexible scheduling may be available to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance. You’ll manage a manageable caseload of 10-12 students, ensuring your expertise goes toward individualized, high-quality support and interventions.

A unique professional development benefit: the district will sponsor your attendance at a 4-day Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Schools (TCIS) Training if you haven't completed it already, meeting an important requirement for this position and building your skills for long-term success. You’ll also supervise 1-2 Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), providing mentorship, oversight, and guidance to enhance their practice and student outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential in good standing
• Previous experience within school-based settings highly preferred
• Strong background in applied behavior analysis for children and adolescents
• Capacity to supervise and coach paraprofessionals or RBTs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff and families
• Ability to work through the contract duration: ASAP through 5/21/26

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, development, and oversight of behavior intervention plans
• Conduct functional behavior assessments as needed
• Collaborate with school teams, teachers, and families
• Oversee and support 1-2 RBTs working with your caseload
• Track and document student progress toward goals
• Participate in TCIS training and apply restorative intervention practices
