Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required
• Active or eligible state licensure as per local regulations
• Experience developing and implementing functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, support staff, students, and families
• Commitment to data-driven decision-making and ongoing professional development
• Ability to provide leadership, training, and consultation to school staff regarding behavior management

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized behavior plans for students, ensuring compliance with educational standards
• Collaborate with educational teams to support the development of effective classroom management and positive behavior supports
• Deliver training and guidance to teachers and paraprofessionals in implementing intervention strategies and collecting relevant data
• Monitor student progress regularly, adjusting plans to maximize student growth and success
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
• Participate in meetings with parents/guardians and school personnel to communicate student needs and progress
