Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required
- Active or eligible state licensure as per local regulations
- Experience developing and implementing functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, support staff, students, and families
- Commitment to data-driven decision-making and ongoing professional development
- Ability to provide leadership, training, and consultation to school staff regarding behavior management
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized behavior plans for students, ensuring compliance with educational standards
- Collaborate with educational teams to support the development of effective classroom management and positive behavior supports
- Deliver training and guidance to teachers and paraprofessionals in implementing intervention strategies and collecting relevant data
- Monitor student progress regularly, adjusting plans to maximize student growth and success
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Participate in meetings with parents/guardians and school personnel to communicate student needs and progress
