Step into a valued support role as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst during a key maternity leave coverage for the 26/27 school year. This contract opportunity, located near Chesterfield, MO, offers a full-time schedule (Monday through Friday, 8:15 am to 3:30 pm) from August 18, 2026, through October 23, 2026—with flexibility on the official end date.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with classroom teachers and staff to ensure seamless behavioral support for students. You’ll manage a caseload of 35–45 students, designing and overseeing behavioral programs tailored to individual needs. Engage in real-time training and coaching with staff, offer consultations, and join collaboration efforts with fellow BCBAs. This position also involves responding to crisis situations, providing direct student services, and assisting with daily needs such as arrival and dismissal.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Previous experience providing behavioral support in a school setting
- Strong skills in developing functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans
- Familiarity with teacher/staff training and coaching
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other BCBAs and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and crisis-response abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and monitor evidence-based programs for students
- Provide training, guidance, and real-time coaching to classroom teachers and support staff
- Consult regularly with educational teams to evaluate program effectiveness
- Collaborate with other BCBAs to ensure best practices
- Assist with building operational needs, such as arrival and dismissal
- Respond promptly to crisis situations
- Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned to support students and teams
