Make an impact serving K–12 students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in a welcoming school environment located near Cicero, IL. This part-time contract opportunity runs from August 27, 2026, through June 11, 2027, providing the chance to work on-site with a diverse caseload of students from kindergarten through high school. You’ll collaborate closely with educational teams and families, helping students achieve their goals and grow in confidence.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree and active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Current Illinois BCBA license required
- Experience working with K–12 students, especially those with autism or other disabilities
- Knowledge of behavior intervention, data collection, and the development of functional behavior assessments and plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet varying student needs in a school-based setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site support for students and staff, 20 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Conduct assessments and analyze data to inform instructional strategies
- Provide training and consultation to school personnel and families on effective behavioral approaches
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment to maximize student learning and well-being
- Document interventions, progress, and outcomes according to district and regulatory standards
