Key Qualifications:

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required
  • Experience in a K-12 school setting preferred, but not mandatory
  • Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor effective behavior intervention plans

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct behavioral assessments to determine student needs
  • Design and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans in collaboration with IEP teams
  • Collect, analyze, and present data related to student progress
  • Train and support school staff in ABA strategies and interventions
  • Consult with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to promote positive behavioral strategies
  • Attend meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
