In this rewarding contract opportunity, a skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is needed to support students throughout private schools in the area. Begin making a powerful impact in the classroom by providing behavioral consultation and support from early September through late May. The role features itinerant duties across multiple schools, engaging with a variety of age groups and collaborating directly with staff and administrators.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid BCBA national certification is required
- Strong preference for prior school-based experience (but not mandatory)
- Skilled in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments and developing Behavioral Intervention Plans
- Experience training and supervising staff in behavior intervention implementation
- Proficiency in implementing, monitoring, and revising behavior plans
- Capacity to facilitate social-emotional learning curricula and crisis prevention interventions
Role Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive behavioral assessments for individual students or classrooms, including observations, records review, and consultation with educational staff
- Develop targeted Behavioral Intervention Plans based on assessment results, tailored to students’ and classrooms’ needs
- Deliver staff training related to intervention strategies, procedures, and data collection methods
- Provide direct behavioral therapy to individuals or groups when needed
- Collaborate to support social-emotional lesson implementation, including programs such as Zones of Regulation and crisis prevention
- Monitor, adjust, and document the effectiveness of intervention plans to ensure student progress
- Primarily provide services during regular school hours, with some flexibility for transitional support
