In this full-time contract role, you will help create and implement strategies that foster the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) for Students with Disabilities (SWD), empowering each student to thrive academically and socially.
What you bring:
- Active BCBA or RBT certification
- Demonstrated experience working with children or adolescents with disabilities in school or clinical settings
- Strong understanding of behavioral principles, data collection, and the application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to effectively consult with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to enhancing inclusion and maximizing student potential in the classroom
- Ability to adapt approaches based on individual needs and evolving program goals
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop effective intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families in the creation and implementation of individualized behavioral strategies
- Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions where needed
- Train and support school personnel in the use of ABA techniques and positive behavioral supports
- Champion the ongoing evaluation of educational programming to ensure robust Least Restrictive Environment placements for students with disabilities
- Foster a supportive and welcoming atmosphere for students, promoting both dignity and independence
