As part of this assignment, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the district’s commitment to improving the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) for Students with Disabilities (SWD). By collaborating with education teams, you will help students reach their fullest potential and bring meaningful change to their learning experiences.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential
- Previous experience working in school-based settings or with students with disabilities is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of behavioral intervention strategies and best practices
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert behavioral services for students in pursuit of LRE goals
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized plans
- Mentor and support staff, including RBTs, to implement strategies and collect data
- Engage with multi-disciplinary teams to tailor supports for each student
- Monitor progress, maintain records, and adjust interventions as needed
