Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification as a BCBA in good standing.
  • Experience working within school systems, preferably with K-12 populations.
  • Strong skills in conducting functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and developing behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Excellent communication and consultation skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and modify interventions.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments to identify students’ needs.
  • Design and implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
  • Train and support school staff on intervention strategies and best practices.
  • Provide consultation and coaching to ensure fidelity of behavioral interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop IEP goals and measure outcomes.
  • Document progress and adjust strategies as needed to optimize student success.
