Qualifications/Experience Sought:
- Current BCBA certification required
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting highly preferred
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) strategies for children and adolescents
- Comfortable conducting functional behavior assessments and creating individualized intervention plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to provide training and guidance to school staff and parents
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ behavioral needs and develop targeted intervention plans
- Provide direct and consultative behavioral support for students and staff within the school environment
- Monitor progress, collect and analyze data, and adjust strategies as needed
- Provide training to educators and caregivers on behavioral interventions and ABA principles
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall positive climate of the school community
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations
