Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active certification as a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Maryland
  • National BCBA license required
  • Deep understanding of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and writing effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary or IEP teams
  • Track record of training and coaching staff on implementing BIPs
  • Exceptional documentation and data monitoring skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive FBAs for students and interpret findings to inform strategy
  • Collaborate with IEP teams to develop, implement, and refine BIPs tailored to individual needs
  • Provide staff training and real-time coaching to ensure best practices in BIP implementation
  • Monitor fidelity of BIP roll-out and ensure accurate data collection and analysis
  • Maintain up-to-date, thorough documentation reflecting student progress
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary meetings to maximize student support
