Key Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Current license to practice as required
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Proficiency working with students from elementary through high school
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for students as determined by district needs
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Offer consultation, coaching, and practical guidance to teachers, paraprofessionals, and school teams
- Collect, document, and analyze behavioral data for ongoing progress monitoring
- Collaborate with IEP teams and contribute to meetings, sharing expertise and recommendations
- Serve as a trusted resource within the school community to support positive student behavior and growth
This is a full-time position, with a typical schedule of 37.5 hours per week during the school day. The caseload and specific assignments may shift based on district requirements, offering variety in your daily practice.
