Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current, active BCBA Certification (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
  • Licensure as required by state or district policy
  • Demonstrated success or familiarity working with elementary, middle, and/or high school populations
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric environments strongly preferred
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify student needs and guide intervention
  • Design and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to support positive behavioral change
  • Offer consultation and on-the-job coaching to teachers, paraprofessionals, and school personnel, strengthening classroom management and behavioral strategies
  • Monitor student progress, meticulously analyze data, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Actively collaborate with IEP teams, contributing insights in meetings and supporting the creation of tailored educational plans
