Apply NowMake an impact supporting students and staff as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on an itinerant contract, working across three school sites near Crescent City, CA. This full-time, 40-hour weekly position focuses primarily on serving elementary students, while also collaborating with educators and support teams working with middle and high school students.
You'll bring your expertise to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), ensuring best practices and the highest standards of care for students in need. Your flexibility, communication skills, and thorough understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies will shine as you work collaboratively in a dynamic educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Active Oregon Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license
- Experience with FBAs and BIPs, especially in educational settings
- Strong background working with elementary-aged students; comfortable collaborating with middle and high school teams
- Ability to work across multiple locations and adapt to diverse school environments
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop detailed Behavior Intervention Plans
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families at all three sites to implement and monitor interventions
- Provide direct support and guidance to educational teams
- Consult with classroom staff and administration, offering training as needed
- Collect, analyze, and report behavioral data to guide ongoing interventions
- Travel between designated school sites, primarily working with elementary students
