Preferred Background and Skills:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Previous experience delivering or overseeing ABA interventions in school settings
- Familiarity with developing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Strong data collection, analysis, and reporting abilities
- Comfortable conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and training school staff
- Skilled communicator with students, educators, and families
- Flexible, solution-oriented, and committed to creating safe, supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct FBAs to identify student needs and inform intervention strategies
- Design and implement effective BIPs tailored to individual students
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, educators, and school staff
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to assess progress and inform decision-making
- Train and support staff in the implementation of ABA methodologies and positive behavior supports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve student outcomes and classroom environments
- Document progress and maintain compliance with regulatory and ethical guidelines
