Exciting contract opportunity for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make a direct impact in an educational environment! This role focuses on providing dedicated one-on-one support for an elementary-aged student, emphasizing positive behavior interventions and mental health management within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active BCBA certification required
• Prior experience working in school settings or with children ages 8-9
• Strong background in behavior intervention strategies and mental health support
• Outstanding communication skills for collaborating with school teams, students, and families
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized behavior plans
• Comfortable working onsite and able to reliably commute to the Ed Tech Center in Lapeer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop proactive, individualized intervention strategies
• Collaborate daily with a supportive team to ensure comprehensive care and positive outcomes for the student
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as needed based on data and team feedback
• Provide training and consultation to staff and family members involved in the student’s care
• Foster a supportive, positive environment that promotes growth and learning

This position offers a steady, Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30am to 2:45pm onsite, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while contributing meaningfully during the school year calendar through June 2027.
