This flexible contract assignment, beginning August 3rd, 2026 and running through May 21st, 2027, offers the chance to serve schools in diverse communities such as Algonquin, Carpentersville, Hampshire, Dixon, Hiawatha, Kaneland, and St. Charles districts. Full-time and part-time options are available, supporting an itinerant model designed to maximize your expertise throughout several districts.
Ideal candidates are driven, collaborative, and dedicated to shaping positive student outcomes by applying behavioral analysis practices in educational settings. You’ll partner with multidisciplinary teams and educators, tailoring strategies to support student growth across a spectrum of needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Active IDFPR Behavior Analyst Certification
- National BCBA certification from the BACB
- Comfortable working independently while managing a caseload across multiple school sites
- Previous school-based experience is highly valued
- Ability to work with K-12 students with varying needs
- PEL is not required
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with staff to provide training, modeling, and support on behavior strategies
- Conduct behavioral assessments and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district guidelines
- Engage in problem-solving sessions and IEP meetings as needed
- Support students in both general and special education environments
