Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Dekalb, IL

Schools in northwestern Illinois are seeking BCBAs to support students in K–12 settings for the 2026–2027 academic year. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available, including multiple small assignments for those comfortable traveling between schools. Key Qualifications:

• Current national BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Active IDFPR Behavior Analyst Certification
• Experience working with students ranging from kindergarten through high school
• Ability to work independently across multiple school sites (itinerant capacity)
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans for students
• Collaborate closely with school staff, teachers, and families to support student progress
• Provide direct behavioral support and consultation across assigned school districts, with needs spanning Algonquin, Carpentersville, Hampshire, Dixon, and others
• Deliver training, coaching, and ongoing guidance to school personnel as needed
• Maintain thorough documentation in line with professional and district standards
• Flexibility in covering varying caseloads and student needs throughout the academic year
