Bring your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to a dynamic school environment where flexibility and meaningful impact go hand in hand. Schools in northwestern Illinois are seeking BCBAs to support students in K–12 settings for the 2026–2027 academic year. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available, including multiple small assignments for those comfortable traveling between schools. Key Qualifications:

  • Current national BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Active IDFPR Behavior Analyst Certification
  • Experience working with students ranging from kindergarten through high school
  • Ability to work independently across multiple school sites (itinerant capacity)
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans for students
  • Collaborate closely with school staff, teachers, and families to support student progress
  • Provide direct behavioral support and consultation across assigned school districts, with needs spanning Algonquin, Carpentersville, Hampshire, Dixon, and others
  • Deliver training, coaching, and ongoing guidance to school personnel as needed
  • Maintain thorough documentation in line with professional and district standards
  • Flexibility in covering varying caseloads and student needs throughout the academic year
