Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity next school year as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a focus on empowering educators and impacting student success. This role, located in the Delmar, MD area, offers a unique setting where your primary mission will be to support and train teachers—playing a crucial part in shaping positive behavior interventions school-wide rather than managing an individual caseload. We are currently seeking two dedicated BCBA professionals for this position.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active BCBA certification
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably within educational settings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Past involvement in teacher coaching or staff training is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct training and ongoing support to teachers on evidence-based behavioral strategies and interventions
  • Develop and deliver professional development sessions focused on classroom management and positive behavior supports
  • Collaborate with school leadership to assess needs and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior programs
  • Model best practices for educators to enhance classroom behavior management and student engagement
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of school-wide positive behavioral initiatives

Position Details:

  • Full-time contract, 35 hours per week for the academic year
  • Intent to transition to a permanent placement after the contract term
