Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active BCBA certification and relevant licensure
- Experience working within school settings (elementary, middle, and/or high school)
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, teachers, and parents
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans
- Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify student needs
- Design and oversee effective behavior intervention plans
- Train and support teachers and staff on behavior strategies and interventions
- Monitor student progress, collect/interpret data, and recommend adjustments
- Provide direct services to students and assist with crisis interventions as needed
- Document services and progress in accordance with school policies
- Serve as a resource for behavioral best practices campus-wide
