Elementary High School Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Des Moines, IA

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Active BCBA certification required
• Current licensure valid for working in school settings
• Previous experience with children and adolescents in elementary, middle, and/or high school
• Strong ability to assess, develop, and revise behavior intervention strategies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfort working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with educators and support staff to assess student needs and evaluate behavior
• Create, monitor, and update individualized behavioral intervention plans (BIPs)
• Provide training and coaching to school personnel and family members on behavioral techniques
• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
• Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in team meetings
• Adjust strategies and interventions to ensure the best possible student outcomes
• Foster a positive and supportive environment that motivates learners at all grade levels
