Step into a rewarding contract position supporting elementary school students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst near Des Plaines, IL, serving the Long Grove area. This unique opportunity runs from September 23 to December 11, with a consistent weekday schedule of 8:00 am to 3:30 pm and a guaranteed 7.5-hour workday, including a lunch break. You'll enjoy a role focused on school-wide behavior support, working as a coach rather than managing a direct caseload.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA certification required
  • Background in behavioral analysis within educational settings preferred
  • Experience developing and modeling behavioral intervention strategies for K-5 students
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and school staff
  • Ability to provide training and coaching for faculty in positive behavior practices

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a behavioral coach to staff, supporting the implementation of individualized and group strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and administration to enhance positive student behavior across the building
  • Guide staff in data-driven decision making to address challenges and promote a supportive learning environment
  • Lead and participate in professional development activities related to behavior management
  • Monitor the effectiveness of interventions and recommend adjustments as needed
